Situated on a quiet corner in Old Town Alexandria a la Lucia has fast become one of the neighborhoods favorite spots. Recognized by the Washingtonian magazine 2 years in a row , a la Lucia is one of the top 100 restaurants in the Metropolitan Washington area. Specializing in southern Italian cuisine, the dishes are simple, not trendy. Flavored by little more than the wonderfully fresh ingredients, the food stays true to a traditional Italian table.

To compliment the food, there is a great selection of wines chosen by the owner Michael Nayeri. Michael is better known for his years working with Roberto Donna at Galileo.
